SPACE INQUIRY: Please Read the Following in its Entirety before submitting an event request.
Pakachoag Center has ties to many community organizations that already use our space. We welcome a wide range of people, from local nonprofits and grassroots groups to artists, musicians, educators and collaborators. Public events that bring people together in keeping with our mission, are always a priority.
Examples of events that fit within our mission include:
- Classes, Workshops & Seminars* -- art classes (including things like cake or cookie decorating, stained glass, etc.), wellness classes (yoga, mindfulness, etc.), skill sharing or creative labs
- Arts & Performances -- acoustic concerts, theater and storytelling events, art shows and gallery-style exhibits
- Community and Civic Events -- public forums, town hall-style meetings, affinity groups, local advocacy group events, voter info sessions
- Cultural & Heritage Events -- cultural exchange, faith based celebrations (non worship)
- Professional Gatherings -- board retreats, off-site staff training, strategic planning sessions, nonprofit or corporate meetings
The following events are Not Permitted:
Birthday parties, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, large scale weddings, any event involving alcohol or nightlife themes, events requiring late-night hours, excessive noise or specialized cleanup
*Classes, Workshops and Seminars:
- We do not offer dedicated space/ more than 2 classes per week to any one instructor/group of instructors
- Instructors are responsible for managing registrations and liability waivers
- We operate on a 70% (instructor) / 30% (Center) fee structure and ask that the group/ person offering the class sign a contract noting building use expectations

RENTAL TIERS / A SHARED SUPPORT MODEL:
Our rental structure is designed to keep the Center open and accessible to as many people as possible. Standard rates cover the building's essential costs, while discounted and proposal-based rates make it possible for others to host meaningful, mission-aligned events, regardless of budget.
This shared approach reflets the spirit of our mission: everyone contributes in their own way and together we create a welcoming community space.
Tier1: Standard Rate
- Who it's for: Private events, businesses and individuals that fit within our model
- Includes: Full access to the reserved space, tables/chairs and basic support
- Rate varies by room and number of hours; please fill out our inquiry form & and our team will review and get back to you
Tier 2: Nonprofit and Mission-Aligned Discount
- Who it's for: registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits or groups offering free, public-serving programs
- Includes: Full access to the reserved space, tables/chairs and basic support
- Rate varies by room and number of hours, with 25% to 50% off standard rate; please fill out our inquiry form & our team will review and get back to you
Tier 3: Community Support Rate (Proposal-Based)
- Who it's for: Grassroots groups, individuals or initiatives serving the local community but unable to afford the nonprofit rate.
How it works: Submit to outreach [at] pakachoagcenter.org (outreach[at]pakachoagcenter[dot]org) a short proposal explaining your event, budget and impact. Please include:

- Estimated number of attendees
Space(s) requested
Organizer Information
- Name & Contact information
- Organization or Group Name (if applicable)
- Website or Social Media (optional but encouraged)
- Are you a registered nonprofit? If so, attach IRS 501(c)(3) letter or similar tax exemption documentation and EIN (Tax ID Number. If not, briefly describe your groups structure and mission

Purpose & Impact

Will you be charging admission or selling anything?
Request for Support
- Are you requesting Full Fee Waiver? Partial Reduction (for example if you have a grant or other ability to offer partial pay)? Flexible Payment Plan?
Reason for requesting financial assistance (include budget constraints, funding limitations, etc.)
Optional Supporting Materials
- Flyers, event proposals, community testimonials
- Partner letters if coordinating with another group
- Budget overview
Social media / advertising plan including how the Center will be acknowledged
Expectations
- Agreement to follow space use policies
- Understanding that reduced/ waived fees are limited and not guaranteed
- Permission to be contacted for follow-up or post event feedback
