Open meditation sit for all levels from beginner to expert.
Program will include a 20 minute guided meditation, 10 minute mindful moving meditation, and a 20 minute silent meditation.
Please wear comfortable clothing with layers, bring water or tea, warm socks, and a blanket for comfort as we will be sitting low to the floor. Also, please bring a pillow, yoga mat, meditation cushion, or low seated beach chair - anything that will help you be comfortable as you sit. Seated chairs will be made available to those who can not comfortably sit on the floor. Attempted to eat something two hours before the class and no caffeinated or alcoholic drinks or use of marijuana two hours before the class.
This course is developed to be trauma-aware and accessible to anyone who wishes to learn meditation and is accessible to those with neurodivergence and mental health disorders. Please inform the instructor if you have any accommodation needs.
